John Granata has started work on a fixtures list for the coming season. Some of our opponents have requested to play matches during the week and not on Sundays.

Happy Birthday to Ray Winslow. Born on 28th April 1924, Ray is the oldest living CBC cricketer.
Ray's milestone was celebrated at Dubbo RSL on Saturday 27th April, 2024 and later at a family gathering at his daughter's house.
CBC Golden Oldies is happy to acknowledge Ray's 100th with an appropriate gift being provided.
Transcript from telephone call between Steve Allan and Barbara Edwards (Ray's daughter) after the birthday party.
Barbara: Hi Steve, I think this is a good one. He loved his bottle of scotch. Is it OK if he rings you to thank you?
Steve: Sure. Thank you for the photo. So glad he enjoyed the day. How did you go with such a full house?
Barbara: Well, I am at work. Too old for such celebrations. But, it was worth every minute. Saddest part was he and his sister saying good-bye. She is 97 and lives in Coffs Harbour. Probably won't see each other again. Both very tearful.
