SCHEDULE OF MATCHES FOR 2025/26

John Granata has again arranged a pretty full schedule of matches for the coming season.

He is hopeful the spare January date will be against Central Coast Cyclones at Woy Woy. He also has a spare date in December.

Please make a note of the dates and make yourself available for as many matches as you can. The selectors need work.

14/9/25  Match versus Mid North Coast at Tuncurry. 

8/2/26   Intra Club match at Bradman Oval, Bowral.

BRADMAN OVAL, BOWRAL HAS BEEN BOOKED

We have booked Bradman Oval, Bowral for Sunday 8th February, 2026 for our Annual Intra Club match for the Johnny Taylor Memorial Trophy.

Names will be called for early to ensure we have enough payers to field two teams.

Please keep the date free and make a note in your diaries.

AVERAGES 2024/25

The winner of the Ray Single Memorial Trophy (batting average) was Darryl Semmler. Darryl was dismissed only once in his seven innings and amassed exactly 100 runs. Terry Hagan was close behind. He had the minimum four innings and totalled 98 runs. He was dismissed only once also. 

David Flaks won the Services Memorial Trophy (bowling average) with a single figure average of 9.17. David took 6 wickets for 55 from his 21.4 overs. Runner-up was Tony Adnum with an average of 16.00. Tony bowled 26 overs and took 7 for 112. Full details are on the Averages page.

THE RACE IS ON TO 100 AND 1,000

The race is on for the first player to reach 100 wickets and 1,000 runs for the Club.

Tony Adnum has taken 98 wickets and scored 1,194 runs.

John Granata has taken 118 wickets and scored 962 runs.

Paul Brett has taken 95 wickets and scored 1,300 runs.

In the match against Goulburn Trinity Tigers on Sunday 16th March, 2025, Tony took one wicket and scored four runs while John scored one run and took one wicket.

Mark Waugh. Waugh set the record for the highest individual score by an Australian when he made 173 against the West Indies at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in February 2001. The following month he scored a match-winning 133 not out against India at Nehru Stadium in Pune which also became his last century in the format.
